Get The Yuck Out
High blood pressure, cardiovascular disease, chronic pulmonary obstructive disease, digestive issues, constipation, fibromyalgia, random aches and pains……what do all of these have in common?
Being victimized at the hands of others creates a lot of internal rage. We’re angry at the person who victimized us and we’re angry at ourselves for allowing it. Intellectually, we know that none of what happened to us was our fault, but emotionally, we struggle to forgive ourselves for not knowing what to do. The negative emotions become trapped in our bodies and if not released, will create disease.
People like to focus on the good things that life occasionally brings, and it is important to see those good things. Practicing gratitude is a great habit to get into once all the anger and rage have been released.
